14" (36 cm.) All cloth doll has mask pressed and painted facial features, narrow O-shaped eyes with comma brows, V-shaped nostrils, closed mouth with smiling expression, black felt pate with yarn curls. muslin body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, sewn on red stockings and black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Little Lulu by Margie, Georgene Novelties Inc, New York City, c. 1944 Marjorie Buell. Comments: circa 1945. Value Points: the comic character figure is perfectly depicted, wears original red cotton dress, with original hang tag.
