Description
6" doll. Hand-drawn, colored and cut one-side paper doll and costumes features a lady in the manner of late 18th century, along with 8 gowns and 6 hats made by the same hand, each with exquisite soft colors enhanced by intricate detail of workmanship. The set is included in an early box with paper-lace edged interior, along with envelope ink-script labeled "Marie Antoinette paper dolls, costumes copies from portraits and paintings". Doll and costumes excellent, box worn. American, age uncertain but probably late 19th century.
