Description
4" shoulder width. 8" waist. 12" overall length.
Of dainty white
cotton with abstract rose-shaded pattern,the gown
features a
slightly-rounded neckline,full bodice that gains
its shape with a
1" band of ruching at the center waist,set-in
waistband,and
three-tiered full skirt. The pagoda-style sleeves
are trimmed
with two wide self-ruffles,and self-cording
details at the
shoulders lends a fine finished look. Circa 1860.
