6 1/2" (17 cm.) The mantel clock with elaborate rococo gilded bronze frame surmounted by a winged cherub seated upon a gong, has six enamel inset panels with hand-painted designs of cherubs at play, with porcelain clock face. Structurally excellent, the clockworks are non functioning. Vienna, Austria, a luxury and richly ornamented example of the late 19th century works.
