The Jonathan Green Collection has wonderful examples of dolls from prominent dollmakers such as Kathe Kruse, Anna Fehrle from the Stuttgart secessionist movement, Brunhilde Einenkel and Else Hecht of the Munich art reform group, and Lotte Sievers-Hahn whose charming wooden dolls of the 1930s were in the Erzgebirge tradition, wooden dolls of Ursel Erbs and the highly sought work of Hilde Bartel, known by company name of BAPS.
