Description
Of delicately woven muslin having transfer pattern of lavender flowers and vines, the dainty day dress features a shapely cartridge-pleated bodice above a set-in waist band, pagoda sleeves with ruffled self-edging, and cartridge pleated skirt. The dress is trimmed with lace along the edge of the daintily-rolled collar and extending down the length of the skirt, and at the edges of sleeves. Included is a plum silk sewing or embroidery sac with braided handles and having floral embroidered side panels. To fit 22"-23" lady doll. 5" shoulder width, 8" waist, 19" overall length. Circa 1840.
