Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, rose-blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden lady body with tapered waist to accentuate the tight fit of the velvet Marquis costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 9 (and artist checkmarks) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: the handsome lad is costumed as Marquis in burgundy velvet with silk brocade vest, five-tiered lace jabot, tricorn hat, signed Jumeau shoes.
