18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber tinted complexion, brown glass sleep eyes in half-moon shape, delicately-painted upper lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with richly shaded lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, black mohair wig, amber tinted composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K made in Germany 14 243 JDK (head) Made in Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1914. Value Points: rare larger size of the delightfully-sculpted model has flawless bisque, original body and body finish, superb antique silk costume and headdress with embroidered details.
