Description
Of very loosely woven homespun muslin and with blue woven silk ribbon trim, the gown features a dart-shaped fitted bodice with overlaid wide collar, pagoda sleeves, and full gathered skirt with three ruffled tiers. Hook and loop closures are at the back, and the entire dress is lined with delicate white cotton. The dress has original stamp from the Paris boutique of Au Calife de Bagdad owned by Herbillon. To fit 11"-12" lady doll. 3" shoulder width. 5" waist. 8" overall length. Circa 1855.
