Wearing tagged cornflower blue taffeta gown with tulle overskirt and sleevelets, rosebud at waist and sprinkles of tiny blue flowers on the skirt, blue taffeta panties, stockings, gilt front snap shoes and stiffened blue wide headband that is decorated with clusters of pale pink rosebuds and tiny blue flowers. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 1851, with original box stamped 1851 with Fashion Award seal and original store label from Marshall Fields with $16.50 price tag. Beautiful wide-eyed doll with pretty blush, pristine costume.
