Description
14" (36 cm.) All-composition with socket head, green sleep eyes, closed mouth with red bow-shaped lips, black human hair in original coiffure, jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing gown with green velvet bodice and cotton sleeves and skirt printed with large red roses, attached hooped petticoat, pantalets with green ribbons, socks, black side-snap shoes, green velvet bonnet with lace bavolet. The costume is tagged "Scarlett O'Hara. Madame Alexander NY USA/All Rights Reserved". Doll has minor craze line, left eye lashes missing, costume is near mint. Madame Alexander, 1938, note the variation with #141 without velvet bodice.
