8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead turned to the right, sculpted wind-blown brown short hair, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped armature body, sculpted wooden arms and legs, painted rumpled blue leggings and brown shoes with red straps, wearing original costume comprising blue homespun lined and laced vest, white shirt, woolen pants. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s, especially fine detail of intelligent gaze on the rare to find smaller model.
