25" (64 cm.) Of black felt with shaped facial features, black shoe button eyes with painted eye whites, red felt lips with stitched-on teeth, black tightly fleeced yarn hair, stitch-jointed formed arms and legs, hollow torso with back opening for puppet use. Excellent condition. Else Hecht, Munich, 1930s era, the puppet-doll is wonderfully-preserved with elaborately-detailed costume, jewelry and colorful silk plush slippers, and carries a small all-felt full-body child at her back.
