18" (46 cm.) Blonde hair with bangs and arranged curls, walking body jointed at shoulders, knees, elbows, and wrists. Wearing tagged fitted coat of pale pink faille, green velvet puff hat with floral accent and green velvet ties, matching green velvet reticule, pink taffeta dress with ruffle at the hemline, matching petticoat and panties, peach suede-like shoes, white ribbed socks and white hatbox with white gloves and curlers. Near mint, beautiful complexion and superb preservation of costume. Alexander, 1954, model 18788, with "Sweet Violet" wrist booklet, the doll was described in the Alexander catalog as "the only fully-jointed, walking doll ever made".
