21" (53 cm.) Gofun-finished complexion on swivel head, crepe-wrapped upper limbs, paper wrapped torso and lower limbs, mache hands and feet, crier bellows in torso, enamel inset eyes, black shaded brows, closed mouth with piquant smile, black human hair in bob with bangs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Japan, Ichimatsu child doll, early/mid 1900s. Value Points: fine original condition, the doll is wearing original grey crepe kimono with printed fan design, obi, and carries fan with image of child holding a doll.
