25" (64 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with shaded highlights, brown upper eyeliner and side lashes, grey lower eyeshadow, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, beauty spot, closed mouth with accent dots on bottom lip, blonde mohair wig in frizzed and ringlet curls, slender elongated torso and limbs with jointing at shoulders and hips, high-heel posed feet. Condition: generally excellent, few tiny moth holes in felt. Comments: Lenci, the doll appeared on the cover on the 1925 catalog. Value Points: rare model in superb original condition (except as noted), wearing fresh and vibrant original felt turquoise gown and yellow felt wide-brimmed bonnet; with unusual rolled stiffened organdy collar and cuffs, ruffled organdy apron and Charlotte cap, multi-layered organdy petticoat and pantalets, stockings and black very high heeled shoes. The bonnet, apron and pantalets are trimmed with colorful felt flowers and she holds a matching bouquet in her hand.
