18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll, firmly-pressed head with flat-cut neck swivel, oil-painted complexion and features, small half-moon shaped blue upper-glancing eyes with thick brown upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils of upturned nose, closed mouth with very full lips, brunette human hair bobbed wig, jointed arms, disc-jointed legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kampes Atlantic City (lettered high on back of head). Comments: "Kamkins", from the art studio of Louise Kampes, circa 1925. Value Points: rare early model with distinctive expression, with unusual overall original varnish.
