Description
7" (18 cm.) x 6" frame. 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" painting. The painting of a handsome young gentleman with side-parted curly hair and long goatee is wearing a fine silk vest, cravat, jacket, and is posed seated on chair holding a red-covered book in his right hand, and wearing a gold ring on his left hand baby finger. The painting is presented in a deep gold-leaf frame. Generally excellent. Circa 1840.
