Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, very large amber brown glass paperweight insert eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, kid poupee body with shapely torso and limbs, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, kid finger tips a bit worn. Marks: 4 (and artist checkmarks on head). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: charming petite poupee with dramatic large amber eyes.
