6" (15 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with black sculpted hair in uniform finger curls, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed moth, wooden torso with shapely waist, dowel-jointed upper arms and upper legs, porcelain lower arms and legs with jointing at elbows and knees, flat black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare early miniature doll with perfectly-preserved original body.
