18" (46 cm.) Dark brunette hair with bangs and arranged curls, walking-style body jointed at shoulders, knees, elbows, and wrists. Wearing tagged fitted coat of lilac faille with white floral-accented faux-fur muff, purple velvet puff hat with floral accent, pink taffeta dress with matching panties, purple suede-like shoes with tiny flower applique, white ribbed socks and white hatbox with curlers. Near mint, beautiful complexion and superb preservation of costume. Alexander, 1954, model 18788, with original box, gilt metal Fashion Award medallion, "Sweet Violet" wrist booklet, and "Fashions for Dolls" booklet; the doll was described in the Alexander catalog as "the only fully-jointed, walking doll ever made".
