Of green wool felt, the alligator puppet has opening on underside for use as puppet play, intricately constructed felt covering to simulate alligator hide, felt claws with nails, glass-jewel eyes (mis-matched), and ferocious open mouth with felt teeth. Excellent condition, few teeth missing. Germany, Else Hecht, circa 1930s.
