German Bisque Lady Doll with Dresden Coronet Garland

6" (15 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead of adult lady with oval face, elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair waved away from her face into casually looped curls, with a garland of Dresden flowers forming a coronet overlaid on a blue enameled scarf with gilt accents, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth. Condition: generally excellent few tiny flakes on flowers. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, attributed to Dornheim, Koch & Fischer by Lydia Richter who featured the doll on the cover of her book, China, Parian and Bisque German Dolls, and in two pages of the book interior. Value Points: rare model with superb detail of coronet and hair decorations.
