Of fine cashmere black wool, the two-piece ensemble includes a fully-lined box-shaped jacket with elaborately detailed colorful embroidery which extends down the front, around the back hem, and at the sleeve edges. Along with a matching vest with silk backing, double breasted brass buttons, three pockets and matching embroidery. 8" shoulder width. 14" overall length. Circa 1880.
