Description
14" (36 cm.) Each is all-wooden with well-defined sculpting of facial features, painted brown eyes in deeply-set sockets, strong nose, firmly-set lips, original wig, dowel-jointed throat allowing the head to tilt forward, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, carved and painted shoes and stockings, and attached to original wooden base. Condition: generally excellent, woman's wig worn away in the back. Comments: Germany, early 1800s Value Points: rarity factors including jointing of throat, wonderful detail of carved boots, original costume of woman.
