15" (38 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, dark enamel inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth, firmly-stuffed muslin stitch-jointed body, wooden lower arms. Condition: generally excellent, original finish albeit typical rubs. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: the doll is wearing her original brown silk gown with black silk apron, chatelaine, undergarments, shoes, and with unusual fitted brass cap over lace coiffe.
