Bisque socket head with deeply-set small eye sockets, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale accented lips, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, lovely silk dress, undergarments, lace ruffled bonnet, leather boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Jumeau 8 (head) Bebe Jumeau Bte SGDG Depose (torso). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885, the model was made for a short time only and is, thus, very rare to find. Value Points: an especially beautiful doll with deeply modeled features, finest creamy bisque.
