The carved wooden doll with one-piece head, torso and legs posed in semi-seated manner, has deeply-sculpted curly brown hair, well-defined facial features, brown enamel eyes, closed mouth with solemn expression, jointing at shoulders and elbow, separately-carved curled fingers, defined toes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Continental, early 1800s. Value Points: rare doll with well-preserved original finish, enamel eyes, rare elbow jointing.
