15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden poupee body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, hips and knees, bisque arms to the elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: lovely bisque and brilliant eyes, wooden articulated body, bisque hands and wearing lovely early silk gown, undergarments, leather ankle boots.
