13" (33 cm.) All-cloth doll with one-piece head and torso, pressed and painted facial features, blue eyes, painted upper lashes, closed mouth with ruby-red lips, blushed cheeks, blonde stitched-down yarn hair with original hair band, stitch-jointing at shoulders and legs allowing easy seated pose. She is wearing original cotton print dress with attached panties and apron, white organdy collar, socks, black lace shoe with buckle trim. The costume has original cloth label "Original Alice in Wonderland/Trademark 304,488/Madame Alexander NY". Very good condition, some dustiness of hair. Madame Alexander, 1933, the doll has original rare red paper tag in the shape of a book; the doll was licensed by permission of Macmillan Publishers.
