25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (untinted space at back of head for store label) (artist checkmarks). Bebe Jumeau Bte SGDG Depose (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1890, from a series named "Bebe Reclame" by Jumeau designed for presentation by department stores as their exclusive models by hint of placing a store name label at the back of head in designated untinted space. Value Points: especially beautiful example of Bebe Reclame, with original mariner costume including original Jumeau shoes impressed "11".
