Description
11" (28 cm.) Composition socket head with sculpted short curly forelock, topknot and side curls, large painted blue side-glancing googly eyes, button-shaped nose, tiny closed mouth, wooden body and ball-jointed limbs. Condition: generally excellent, few light craze lines on right side of head. Marks: Des & Copyright J.L. Kallus Joy (original paper label on chest). Comments: Cameo Doll Co, circa 1935, the model was designed by Joseph Kallus. Value Points: wonderful expression and details of hair, original finish, original paper label and costume.
