14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted long curly lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with beautifully-shaped lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, original traditional costume with embroidery on bodice, and hem, woolen red socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig S&H I (Roman numeral I). Comments: Simon and Halbig, from their very rare series of dolls marked with Roman numerals, this model and the IV model being the most rare. Value Points: extremely rare and gorgeous doll with superb modeling and bisque.
