18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully-jointed body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: lovely bisque, fully-articulated body, antique brown velvet ensemble, bonnet, stockings, leather ankle boots.
