Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Presented in original oval gilt frame is a semi-profile painting of aristocratic gentleman with pronounced nose, white periwig, garbed in regimental uniform. Ink script on the back of the frame indicates the partly legible name of the person as Le Colonel Hauser. Excellent condition. French, early 1800s.
