Description
13" (33 cm.) All composition, socket head, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, dark eyeshadow, open mouth, two teeth, blonde human hair with cluster of curls at the bangs and long braids with red hair bows, jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing original red plaid dress with white organdy pinafore, slip and panties, socks, red ankle boots with side-snaps, and woven bonnet with red berries. The dress has original cloth label "McGuffey-Ana/Madame Alexander NY USA/All Rights Reserved". Near mint condition. Madame Alexander, 1940, the doll is preserved in her original rare blue box with pink label, stamped with model number 1203; the doll was shown in the June 1940 Alexander ad in Playthings Magazine.
