20" (51 cm.) All-wooden doll with carved socket head, painted blue intaglio eyes with white eyedots, lightly-tinted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, blonde mohair tacked-on wig, wooden spring-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original finish with little paint flake on upper lip. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17th, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: deeply-defined features including intaglio eyes, original wig and Schoenhut shoes.
