Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brilliant blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, defined space between the shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with square-cut collarette, gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque lower arms and hands. Condition: generally excellent, light nose rub, professional restoration to three fingers of left hand. Marks: Bebe Brevete SGDG Paris (body). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his first model of bebe known as "Brevete", circa 1878, with original signed Brevete body. Value Points: rare early model with especially beautiful eyes, antique blue cotton sailor costume, ruffled bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes signed Bru Jne Paris.
