Description
15" (38 cm.) Rooted blonde hair with elaborate lush overall curls and bangs. Wearing white cotton dress with broderie Anglaise trim at hem collar and cuffs, matching petticoat and pantalets, lavender sash with large bow at the back, black stockings, red suede-like ankle boots with black tips, woven bonnet which perches directly atop her head and is decorated with flowers and a wide lavender satin ribbon. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 1502, with original box and original "Flora McFlimsey by Madame Alexander" wrist booklet, the costume was described in the 1953 catalog as "the gayest little straw hat imaginable to top off her sweet frock".
