5" (13 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta one-piece baby with extended arms and crossed ankles is sculpted with long flowing blonde curls, enamel eyes, open mouth with tiny teeth and tongue tip, body details, incised hole at crown with inserted metallic flower, white baby gown included. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, outstanding sculpting of the tiny model enhanced by artistic painting and blushing accents.
