Description
Of crisp blue silk plaid, the gown has rounded neckline, dart-shaped bodice, unusual sleeves with fitted upper arms and full box-pleated lower sleeves, box-pleated lower skirt. The dress is trimmed with self-piping at the neckline, waist and shoulders, and with blue velvet ribbon at the sleeve edges and hem. Along with detachable fine muslin sous-sleeves with lace cuffs. For 15"-16" doll. 4" shoulder width. 8" waist. 11" overall length. Circa 1860.
