26" (66 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, delicate pale blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, widely feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with artistically painted full lips and upturned lip corners, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid poupee body with square cut collarette, gusset-jointing at hips, elbows and knees, stitched and separated fingers, wearing lovely aqua silk gown, undergarments, slippers, coronet with tiny seed pearls, and with miniature dance book. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose L (forehead) L (back of head and shoulderplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his deposed model poupee notable for enigmatic smile, deposed in 1872. Value Points: the stunningly beautiful doll is notable for delicate pale bisque enhanced by most artistic painting of features.
