Description
2 1/2" (6 cm.) Each is all-bisque with swivel head, painted facial features, jointed arms and legs, mohair wig, and with painted blue or black ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1890, the dolls were presented in French Etrennes catalogs, and as late as 1912, appeared in the SFBJ catalog, described as "Lilliputians". Value Points: wonderful collection of mignonettes, each wearing its original nationality costume, including folklore and rare nurse.
