17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, light brown complexion with gleaming patina, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, black mohair wig. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1894 A.M. Dep Made in Germany 2 1/2. Comments: Marseille, circa 1894, the 1894 model was produced and marketed for the French market. Value Points: the little boy is wearing factory-original Turkish costume including embroidered vest and orange velvet fez.
