5" (13 cm.) x 4 1/2" framed. The simply-rendered folk watercolors of two young girls, presumably sisters, are presented against a shaded grey background, each with center-parted hair drawn behind ears, shy expression, delicate white dresses, one holding a brown leather book, and presented in matching gold wooden frames. Circa 1840.
