15" (38 cm.) The wooden prayer kneeler ("prie-dieu") with ebony finish and gilded stencil design, has original mauve velvet upholstery on seat and back rest, accented by small metal studs and braid trim. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875, the prie-dieu is suitably sized for display with poupee 17"-18".
