Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Enclosed in a walnut frame with gilt inside frame is a painting of a young girl in blue gown with red laced slippers, holding a basket of flowers, set against a background of stone building, fountain, trees and pathway. Written on the back in ink script is name and detail of the child (partly illegible). Excellent condition. French, circa 1840, especially fine detail of facial features and costume.
