18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with unusual flattened solid dome, painted facial features, defined eye sockets with painted blue downcast eyes, black upper eyeliner, fringed upper lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined and accented lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique tweed boy's suit. Condition: generally excellent, finger tips worn. Marks: K&H (in banner) 526 6. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: rare character with unusual modeling of crown, very expressive features, finest quality bisque and painting.
