16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: XI. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: pretty wistful-faced expression on the rare-to-find early model, with original body and body finish.
