18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue upper glancing eyes in well-defined eye sockets, black upper eyeliner with delicately fringed lashes, short wavy brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined rich lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 536 6. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpting especially around dreamy eyes and expressive lips, original wig, body and body finish.
